"Bachin" It! Good Times! Alone?

Liz is away and Al will play. Well, not exactly. Liz is away on a trip with her 5th grade class. I am sure she will write about it soon. In the mean time, I am home alone. Yesterday was Valentine's Day. I figured I would make myself a homemade sandwich for supper and watch Dr. Phil since I was feeling a little lonely.

I even tried to set-up a group to go to the movies. I figured I could make it a guys night. I invited a few guys to go see Brokeback Mountain for Valentine's Day. Then we could grab a bite to eat afterward. None of the guys were really interested...so that was a bust.

As it turned out, I got home to see a V-day package full of candy and magazines from Todd and Cat Dyer in Dallas. What a great afternoon. My day wasn't so lonely anymore. I had chocolate and sweet-tarts from my friends, with my pal, Sports Illustrated. Being in a good mood, I decided I would go for a walk and enjoy the sun and the city. I came home and made chicken fajitas and read some sports news.

So no Brokeback on Valentine's Day with the guys, nor did I have Liz, but I had a great meal and felt loved by some Texans. Liz did call later to chat. It was a good day.
