School Again

Wow, school has started again, and it is tough to get up so early in the morning.

Liz is busy with heading up the Math Department & training two new teachers to the Connected Math program. She put off grading semester exams until after break. Now she is having to catch-up with grading, lesson-planning, & training. She is one busy woman. However, I must note that she is relatively calm and not letting the stress get to her.

I, myself, am having fun as I finish up with one group of Chemistry students & preparing for my next group of students, which will include a group of History students. I am also in the finishing touches for my Gorgona trip with forty students. We will leave in two Sundays for this Pacific Island where we will learn oceanography, environmental science, geography, history, & social science. Oh, and we will be going on a couple of dives too! Thanks to my brother back in Michigan, I have a wet-suit to break in. It should be fun. Hopefully, I will be able to email & blog while I am there on my trip. But, this is Colombia, & you never know where technology is and is not found.
